Airway Module

Stabilising and securing the airway is the first priority in a life threatening emergency. This Responder Pack™ Hook-and-Loop Module utilises the airway adjuncts used by Paramedics and First Responders around the world. The Airway Module is a self contained medical kit that will fit straight into your Responder Pack, or can be used as an Every Day Carry (EDC), and taken to work or stored in the car.

The Airway Module contains:

• CPR Face Mask in Hard Case - to help secure a a good seal around the mouth when delivering rescue breathes

• Guedel Airway Kit - this kit contains eight sizes of oropharyngeal airway to help secure the airway in an unconscious patient

• 2 pairs Nitrile Gloves (blue) - to protect you from disease and protect the patient from infection

• DRSABCD Flow Chart Card - to quickly remind you of the steps you should take when confronted with a life threatening emergency

• Hook-and-Loop Airway Label - to easily identify this life saving kit in an emergency

OPTIONAL Inclusions:

• HYFIN Chest Seal twin pack - used to seal 'sucking chest wounds' caused by penetrating injuries to the chest or back. This twin pack includes two dressings so you can seal both an entry and exit wound in the case of a gunshot injury

• Nasopharyngeal Airway Set (6, 7, 8mm) - contains the three most common sized airways needed to quickly stabilise the airway in an unconscious patient
