The Trauma Kit (IFAK) contains:

• RapidStop™ Tourniquet (Rescue Orange) - an easy to apply tourniquet that is designed to stop serious extremity bleeding

• HYFIN Chest Seal twin pack - used to seal 'sucking chest wounds' caused by penetrating injuries to the chest or back. This twin pack includes two dressings so you can seal both an entry and exit wound in the case of a gunshot injury

• 4" Israeli Emergency Bandage - a specialised compression bandage that allows you to manage serious bleeding caused by traffic accidents, workplace accidents, shootings, stabbings and other life threatening wounds. A 'Standard' issue in major military organisations worldwide

• Trauma Shears 19cm - used to easily cut through clothing to expose the site of an injury so wounds can be managed

• Emergency Blanket - patients who are in shock or have serious bleeding should be kept warm to maximise the ability of their blood to clot and to stabilise injuries

• 2 pairs Nitrile Gloves (blue) - to protect you from disease and protect the patient from infection

• Permanent marker - to record patient observations and write the time that a tourniquet is applied.

• Velcro Trauma Kit Patch - to easily identify this life saving kit in an emergency

Utilising the 5.11 UCR IFAK pouch, this product features a drop-down zippered compartment with a light-coloured interior for easy equipment identification, and bungee tie-downs for added stability.

It attaches to your Responder Pack with the 5.11 patented MOLLE SlickStick™ system, can be worn on a duty belt with the optional leg strap (included), or can be used as an Every Day Carry (EDC), and taken to work or stored in the car.
